The kindergarten team would like to wish all the kindergartens and their families a very Happy Thanksgiving. We hope you had a wonderful long weekend!

Just a few reminders for the coming school week.

1. Please make sure that your child has brought their rock to school. This was listed on the homework assignment on September 30th. Each classroom teacher only has about 10 rocks that have been brought in by students. If your child has not completed this please make sure they bring their rock to school this week (Tuesday October 12th or Wednesday October 13th). 

2. Parents please ensure that you are reading the homework description. On the homework description there is a list of items that needs to be completed by your child for each day of the week. Please do not have your child complete additional work or have them work ahead. Homework is meant to be a review of what is taught in class.

3. Each kindergarten classroom has been assigned a library time and your child was able to bring home a library book last week.  Please have your child take their library book out of their backpack on the day it comes home. We are asking parents to please not leave the book in your child's backpack as it causes confusion because the children do not know when it has to be returned to school. There is also a possibility that the book can be damaged by leaking water bottles and opened lunch containers. Only have your child return their book on the day that they have library.
