Picture Day!
Picture Day is Monday September 27th for Mon/Wed students and Tuesday September 28th for Tues/Thurs students. Students MUST be in formal uniform to have their picture taken. Please make sure your child has ALL pieces of their formal uniform, including a white dress shirt (not the golf polo with TLC crest) and green cardigan (not the vest, it must have long sleeves).
Orange Shirt Day is an opportunity for all people to come together in the spirit of reconciliation. Orange Shirt day began in 2013 when residential school survivor, Phyllis Webstad, shared how her orange shirt was taken away on her first day at a residential school. Kindergarten students will be having age appropriate conversations in their classrooms about the importance of orange shirt day.
Your child can show their support for promoting reconciliation in our welcoming, caring, respectful, safe, and inclusive school community by wearing an orange shirt on Wednesday. We are focusing on the idea that every child matters.
